Basic Skills Workshop

As previously mentioned, we will be offering a Basic Skills Workshop, every Saturday in February.

This workshop is designed for people who want to learn basic cooking skills but who don't have the time or money to register in a full cooking course. The workshop is split into four sessions, and can be purchased separately so you can choose which skills you would like to learn:

Week 2: Roasting and Braising
Week 3: Steaming
Week 4: Searing, Sauteing and Grilling

Indian Classics for Everday

Looking for classic Indian dishes to prepare for everyday mealtimes? Then this is the class for you! Join mother and daughter team, Arvinda and Preena Chauhan of Arvinda's Indian Spice Blends in a delicious evening of classic Indian dishes you will make over and over again. This class will focus on important techniques used in Indian cuisine, giving you a foundation to build upon for all of your Indian cooking.

The menu, perfect for a comforting Winter meal, includes:

• Masoor Dal: Red Lentil and Carrot Soup  served with Pappadums 
• Aloo Gobi: Potato, Cauliflower and Pea Curry
• Coconut Malabar Chicken Curry
• Basmati Rice Pullao
• Whole Wheat Handmade Chappatis
• Authentic Masala Chai Tea
